Girls

Being a girl has helped me realize something.

We are ridiculous. Really, we are. Women as a whole seem to enjoy belittling each other and ourselves. There is always something wrong with us, no matter how hard we try, and no matter how many compliments we may get, we still seem to think that there is nothing to be done but to complain more. I'm not sure what it does for us, because talking badly about ourselves or others certainly doesn't raise our confidence, nor does it help our self image. If anything, it talks us out of possibly learning to love ourselves for who and what we are. I'm giving myself and anyone else who reads this a little tip: when you look in the mirror, focus on what's good about you. If you have an adorable nose, focus on that. If you have a sexy frame, work it. If you feel very confident about your ears, pull your hair back. We all need to stop focusing on the negativity. The world already has enough of that, we don't need to add to it.

Love,
K

Introduction

I never thought I'd be the type to start a blog, but I am a child of the new generation after all, so here I am.

The first thing I will say about this blog is that is is going to be very honest, and very blunt. That's the way I've always been, and unless some catastrophic disaster comes from that in the future, I don't plan to change. My life has always revolved around honesty, and it is truly one of the most important things in my world. I am not the right blog to follow if you're not comfortable with reading my most-often labeled "word vomit," which is very opinionated and forward, then don't waste your time. If, however, you can understand exactly what I'm talking about, then the ridiculous things I will probably post on this page will keep you entertained.

I don't have much to speak of at the moment, but I'm excited to start venting to this lovely piece of software. It's the one thing that doesn't get bored with my restlessness.

Peace,
K
